Here on Pilgrim's Farm and Cottage...
we get up with the dawn of morning
While we are pilgrims passing through this earth age...
the Lord has put into our hands the work we have to do.
We enjoy the everyday work.
It is a pleasure to dig in the dirt to grow food...
tend to the animals...
maintain the crops...
and work at cooking, sewing, cleaning and so forth.
This morning, while my husband started the holes for my potager garden...
I tended to the laundry...
keeping in mind that...
"and everything what ever you may do in word or in work,
do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to the God and Father through Him."
Colossians 3:17 (from the original greek text)
