A Morning with Goats...

Come on down the road with us...

where the kampesh trees are blossoming...

flowers that bring the bees

and into a field filled with natural arbors

and the bacano and banana trees are covered with flowering vines...

in a long neglected and forgotten green world...

where goats are hidden away...

and dogs know there are bush animals under the carpet of green...

this is where we have our goats...

who look for the promise of treats...

bananas and papayas...

and in through the tunnels of vine covered citrus trees...

we find...

more goats

these are the babies that are now half grown...

the twin girls of December...

and now, with another added girl...

Queenie, soon to give birth

and little Orphan Annie, who too, will give us another kid

they all devour with greed the bacano leaves

and who can help getting spotted by all the juicy greens

then, there is Curly...

who has grown into a big, burly ram, the daddy of the twins and the ones to come

with the goats contentedly munching on their goodies...

we retrieve back through the arbors and bush...

out into the open field stepping into a green carpet of morning glory flowers

looking deliciously silky in their array of purples...

and coconut trees filled with coconuts...

and, it's time to head back down the road...

and not to forget Ms. Ruthie MooMoo, the cow...

my husband carries back a load of bacano leaves she loves to chew...

somewhere down below the cottage

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
O speak to the earth,
and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Who knoweth not in all these
that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing,
and the breath of all mankind. - Job 12:7-10

I leave you with my newest rose and

May the Lord bless your day, or night with His grace.
