A day of cloudy weather...
with quick spurts of sunshine
and our passionfruit vine is now showing fruit...
and I can hardly wait to taste it
and the mango tree has given us it's first mango
more ginger is ready to harvest
but, I take just what is needed for the week
and leave the rest in the ground to keep on growing...
that way, we don't have to keep replanting ginger roots...
except to make another patch of it
one cannot have too much ginger growing
the sweet potatoes are calling
and digging down into the wet dirt...
I see a sweet potato peeking through
it's a good size potato...
and only one needed to be dug out
enough for dinner and to put into the dogs' meat
it was about a 2 to 3 pounder
some seasoning peppers are ready to pick
and the ever present doves just keep watching me as I putter around the cottage
