Saturday Island Postcard...

Where is someone's idea of relaxation with a cast-off fishing net for a hammock...
by the sea, by the beautiful sea

May your day or night be well relaxed in the grace of God.

Welcome to Pilgrim's Cottage...

As promised, here is a look at Pilgrim's Cottage on the inside
I tried to video the cottage and found my skills in that area quite lacking...
therefore, I took photos and put it into slide form to spare you the queasy feeling

we built small, put in mostly basic furniture for our needs...
put up a few decorative items...
and have elected to keep it clean and uncluttered for a spacious feeling
once in a while, I change some things around to keep the cottage "fresh"

with no glass in our windows but, only using shutter slats and screens...
we keep our windows open all the time to let in cool breezes and light...
we need no air conditioner and the nights are cool
the roofing overhang keeps out rains

in our cottage, we use very few appliances...
no toasters, no microwave, no dishwasher, no television
what we have are small and sufficient for our needs
our cooker runs on gas and we need to refrigerate very few items

the ads that show up on my video were beyond my control but...
just click the x button on the right top of the ad and it will go away

I hope you enjoy the wee show along with the quiet music

May your day or night be graced by the Lord.
