Wings like a Dove...

And I said,

Oh that I had wings like a dove!

for then would I fly away,

and be at rest.

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

As for me,

I will call upon God;

and the Lord shall save me.

Evening, and morning, and at noon,

will I pray,

and cry aloud:

and He shall hear my voice.

Lampshade and a Dove Audience...

Once in a while...

my lampshades need a little cleaning

when just dusting won't do...

a mixture of vinegar and baking soda...

and a soft scrub brush will do the trick

gentle does it...

a soft rinse with the hose...

and hung up on the line to dry

as for the doves...

they sit in the papaya tree and sneak in some curious (cautious?) glances...

pretending they don't notice I'm there

preening, snoozing, keeping watch
