which tends to be blustery and noisy with sea winds at times
As pretty as the sea is...
I rather like the laundry scene in the painting below
I find it serene, peaceful, quiet...
and cloistered from the noise and openess
This is the model for my farm cottage wash day...
I'm giving up the closeness of the sea to someone else
I love the sea but, would rather visit it or see it from a mountaintop...
There is just something about quiet country living in the hills that suit me better
