Stepping Outside...

for a while

for the outdoors has called to me

to see and feel the beauty in God's nature

while flowers float through the air down from their trees

and the banana trees color the world in green

the pomegranates are slowly growing in time

and the weeds bloom their delicacies

and warm weather flies take in the sun

I hope and pray the Lord bless your day, or night.

  1. Beautiful! Chilly, grey skies have taken over, so it is such a treat to see all your green. And pomegranates, wonderful treat. Our youngest waits for them each year, and feasts on a few when they are in season and available. How nice to grow your own.

  2. What a lovely 'stroll' through your garden! I felt privileged!
Here in the Pacific Northwest, it is raining (nothing new there as we are next to the rainforest), it is also rather cool at 39 degrees F and we are promised snow for Friday (so unusual it made broadcast headlines!).
A bold eagle swooped in front of our SUV on the mainland though yesterday and orcas were reported in the inlet...Life is good!
God is good, God is great! Thank you for sharing!

  3. Each time I visit your blog, I think of the Garden of Eden. There is so much beauty from the lush greenery and beautiful flowers. Thanks for showing the pomegranates- I had no idea how they grow.-------Shannon

  6. Oh what a beautiful garden...here we are under a blanket of snow:-)

Thank you for the comment on eating raw garlic...that I can do gladly. This sore throat is driving me crazy...and wearing me out.

    Again, thank you.

  8. What a beautiful island you live on! A Christmas tradition for years at our house has been to give the kids a pomegranite in their Christmas stockings~ I never realized how beautiful their flowers were! I'll have to show them the pictures!
