Beautiful blossoms! plus the one little ant :) Your photos are wonderful. Is this from the hydrangea family?
Great colors and I need those today. It is all white at my house.
How extremely beautiful! And what a blessing for these eyes of mine! I love flowers, LOVE. If only we could eat flowers, because I love growing them more than food, flowers are easier for me to handle.lol Thank you for this gift, your pictures are AMAZING!
Oh you are too sweet ~Thanks for the flowers I will save the picture and use it as a background on my laptop since I don't think I can get them into a vase hehehe ~Love Heather
Your blog is beautiful! Thanks for the comment on mine. I am so glad you commented cause now I've found your blog and get to enjoy it and I'm about to do that right now. So far so good and I've only read the first post. Thanks again, Beth
I have to post another comment. I read your posts through November and enjoyed it immensely! Now, for a couple of questions... did you use a pattern for your nightgown and if you did is it available to buy somewhere? And did you paint the frame that you found at the antique store? I was torn, it was so beautiful but would have been dreamy painted in a light color in your cottage.Beth
Soozeedozee, I don't believe the flowers are from the hydrangea family. These are warm climate but, I don't remember the name of this plant.Beth, I took my measurements for the top part of the nightgown and used a large rectangular piece of fabric for the middle part and a third piece for the ruffle at the very bottom. The frame is still unpainted, only because time got away from me. I hope to be spray painting it next week in a cream color. Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments!
