a little cubby of a place...
This is quite sufficient for the towels and washrags...
a small laundry basket on top...
a weighing scale...
and a wooden peg holder for nightgowns
These small details smack of cottage living...
I have no need for more
Wire and hooks are all that's needed for hanging the curtain...
to hide and protect the linen (although, sometimes, I like to see linen)
you can see the cottagey look here...
and a non-fuss job to make it look like the cottage has been around for a lot longer
using materials that are available locally helps...
when a wood cottage is built here on this island...
fine-finishing is not important
I love to hang my own hand sewn night frock here...
a handy spot for such things
