the damaged beehive will be rebuilt

and, hopefully...
we will manage to keep away the wax moths this time

our healthy beehive is almost ready to harvest...
looking forward to new honey to fill the honey jars

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul,
and health to the bones.
Proverbs 16:24

May your day, or night be filled with honeycomb words.

  1. I do hope your new hives are safe. I am so thankful not all of your honey was destroyed. Happy honey harvesting.

And there it is, the one negative, those terrible wax moths. ;o) (I'm not making light of that at all, I know that was probably very discouraging finding the damage they caused, I am very sorry about that.)

  2. Did you know that, if a person is allergic to pollen, then they can eat the local honey and gain increased immunity from hay fever? Because the honey is made from the pollen they are allergic to, it is like a natural immunization. It works, it really does! I seen it with my own eyes

  3. That's true, Mark, about the increased immunity. God knows what He's doing :)

Mrs. C, you and I know that God doesn't make life too comfortable for heaven bound people...therefore, even "paradise" islands have their negatives :)
