This little puffball is our newest
she is number 10 of the chicks hatched on Pilgrim's Farm
her mama, Kittie, is the first puffball of Pilgrim's Farm
but, I sneaked another hen's egg under her when she went broody and didn't lay any to sit on
why, hello there! little newest puffball
oops! nope, guess you aren't interested, little puffball
this puffball's real mama is Gurdle girl, who is cackling up a real noise...
a cackle that matches her funny looks
Gurdle, who is a rescue from an unhappy egg farm...
would like us all to know...
she has laid an egg
yeah, Gurdle girl...
you did good
and Foxie, just wanted to make sure there really is an egg under the bench
and because we do get some pretty nice sunsets...
this one from the night before...
I just couldn't pass up without the camera
love the colors
my God knows how to paint better than anyone
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth His handywork.
Psalm 19:1
they do, indeed
and now, it's time to say good-night
May the Lord bless your day, or night with His grace.
Wow! your photography is amazing!!!! thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWill Puffball still be Puffball when he turns into a big 'ol rooster?
ReplyDeletePuffball is the generic name I call my new chicks until they loose their fluff for feathers. Then, they are "peepers". If I keep them, they get names that seem to suit their personality. : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, specially the sunset ones, have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh what joyous pictures!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed my visit ;-)
Blessings and Hugs, Linnie
The puffball is so cute! There is nothing more precious than baby chicks and their mama. So much better than trying to raise them oneself. I agree about your sunsets too. :)
ReplyDeleteGerdie needs a tiny set of spectacles, that would complete her look!lol Puffball is darling!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful handiwork indeed!!! (sunsets)
