We don't eat conventional breakfasts here on Pilgrim's Farm

we eat what the Lord provides us with in His blessings on the farm
we also believe eating what we grow is healthier and tastes so much better than...
processed, boxed, fast products loaded with sugars and chemicals which...
we really find hard to call food

our bodies were created by God to digest and absorb food nutrients from the ground...
not products manufactured with added synthetic "vitamins" and "minerals"
and these days, one really doesn't know what is in these "food" products

on our plate for the morning breakfast is...
cucumber, avocado, boiled ripe plantain, and scrambled eggs with the works
that meal takes us all the way into a late afternoon dinner...
with fruit in between times

the bounty of the Lord is indeed very good

There is nothing better for a man,
than that he should eat and drink,
and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour.
This also I saw,
that it was from the hand of God.
Ecclesiastes 2:24

May the Lord bless your day or night with the bounty of His grace.

  1. I am inspired... that is beautiful. And yes, I agree.

  2. Lovely breakfast.... what is your cooked part of the breakfast?? Recipe??

    1. Anonymous, the cooked part is scrambled eggs with tomatoes, onions, garlic, olives and cheese. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I have the same attitude towards food. :o) Just because something is edible doesn't mean I consider it food. Looks like a delicious way to start the day.

  4. This looks wonderful to me. Cereal = yuck

  5. That looks like a good breakfast to me. Trade you my cucumber for your plantain!

  6. I visted with a friend today who is turning their whole yard, both front & back into all edible trees and plants. It was so beautiful too!!

Your breakfast looks delicious and full of good nutrients:)

  7. Mmmm~ this looks so healthy and wonderful!

  8. We don't eat conventional breakfasts here at our home either. Whatever the Lord has provided through our wonderful church family who are farmers are basically what makes it to our table. I thank the Lord so much for his provision this way through the people he has placed us with to minister to.
